Video: Halo Legends Trailer
Well Wootini gave us the scoop yesterday on Microsoft's Halo Legends project, and after seeing the debut trailer for it, I'm pretty stoked too. I love it when companies put out a bunch of short anime films like this to whet our appetites. It worked for the Matrix and for Batman. It also helps that they have Shinji Mikami as creative director for it, as well as Mamoru Oshii making one of the films. For now you'll just have to pleased by the trailer, but hopefully soon we'll be getting the whole kitten kaboodle.

Lame. Really, to me it seems they just want to milk the franchise's current success. I mean I REALLY DOUBT they thought to give Halo so much story when they first conceived it. And it's not that good anyway, I think people play it for the fun multiplayer.
And all the homophobic bigoted Halo fans are gonna get pissed at such effeminate characters. But that kinda makes me smile a bit. :)

Not only have I seen Halo fanbois go from bashing Anime as "faggy" and "gay" to saying this is awesome and there is nothing gay about it. This looks poorly CGd, that brief clip of the Arbiter and Master Chief looked like a scene form one of the Stop-Start Animation movies. Just pandering and nothing more.
