Ultimate Clothing Store Fighters

I think we've all heard the term 'fierce' used to describe some fashion styles, and at the same time we've heard it used to describe some of the battles you've had playing your favorite fighting game. Well it seems as though the ad team that came up with the above and below advertisements for posh British clothing company Harvey Nichols had both of these meanings in their minds. The end result is something, well, fierce.

I'm not sure if they had gamers as their target audience with these ads, but I'm sure we can appreciate seeing a gaming twist on the cattiness that can be going to shopping sales at stores sometimes. I can gladly say that I've never had to fight over a pair of jeans with anyone, but I would like to imagine that it'd go down a little something like these images. What's even better is that advertisments like this show how gaming is become more easily recognizable in our culture, even if it is equating them with the sometimes catty/violent act of trying to shop during a sale.

All in all, let this be a reminder that you should always brush up on your fighting game combos before heading out to the sales; you wouldn't want to be caught in a deadly dress shoes combo without knowing how to use the dress socks combo breaker to escape.
