San Francisco Symphony Goes To Distant Worlds With Final Fantasy

On my way out last night I saw a bus stop side billboard that caught my eye. The San Francisco Symphony will be performing a show entitled Distant Worlds: The Music of Final Fantasy. The performance will be conducted by Arnie Roth and featuring the music of Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu. It will include a full orchestra and video clips and still from various Final Fantasy games.
The show is one night only on Saturday, July 18. Tickets are $45 - $90 for the few seats that remain however, they are really good seats in the Orchestra section. Hurry though, when I checked a few minutes ago there were only ten seats left in the whole place. Pretty cool to see a video game music performance sell out this far in advance!

Matthew, there going to be a mini gaygamer meet up before the concert if you would like to attend. just email me, pekemo@live.com
Don't know if you have heard of it, but there is a touring group that does video game concerts. They usually time some of their concerts to match up with Blizzcon, Comic-Con, etc. I have the CD they put out, its excellent.
