Namco Bandai Museum Comes Home

shot25.jpg

Sony PlayStation Home will be getting a little old-school arcade flavor with the release of the Namco Bandai Games Destination which will serve as the hub for the company's downloadable media. It will feature a virtual arcade where players can access a trial version of the upcoming Namco Museum Essentials, collect 50 PlayStation Home classic Namco and The Idolm@ster items as well as view the latest media and trailers.

What is this Namco Museum Essentials I speak of? Glad you asked! It's a compilation heading for the PlayStation Network in July that will feature Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Dragon Spirit, Xevious and the "re-envisioned" Xevious: Resurrection, which features enhanced gameplay and 1080p HD graphics. The games will also feature the usual trophies and online leaderboards as well as allow gamers to earn PlayStation Home rewards to show their love for classic arcade gaming.
