In honor of his passing, Xbox Live Marketplace is offering Michael Jackson's Thriller video for free until the end of today. Does anyone else think it's a little morbid that as a tribute to a dead guy, they're offering a mini-movie music video where he turns into a zombie? Anyway, the clip is standard def, 10 minutes long, and it's from before he got really nutty. I mean, he was already a little weird, but it was a fun, chimps and baby tigers kind of weird.

It isn't morbid; it's frequently called the best video of all time and is the title track from the biggest selling album of all time. It would be silly to use any other video, and it isn't as if it even vaguely resembles the real events of his death. Besides, he turns into a werewolf, not a zombie.
He gets zombie-fied nearer the end of the video, when all of the corpses rise from the graves. He gets trapped with his "girlfriend," who turns around and finds that Michael has turned into a zombie too. Then they dance.
