Korg DS-10 Plus Has DSi Exclusive Features

AQ Interactive's update to the original DS Korg organ simulator, Korg DS-10 Plus, was officially announced last week. For all DS users, the upgrade will bring a few improvements, such as an expanded song mode and real time editing. For DSi owners, however, there will be a few extra enhancements.
Thanks to the DSi's more powerful hardware, the software has a "dual mode," which gives players an improved palette of synth options, and double the number of drum machines and tracks. It's interesting, although considering the niche nature of the Korg application in the first place it probably won't sell of ton of extra DSi systems. Still, it may be a hint at how developers may approach DSi exclusive features or content in games.
Korg DS-10 Plus is due this September in Japan, with no other regions confirmed. After the break, check out a video of the "keynote address" announcing the update and the new features.

Nobody's mentioned one way or the other yet, so I'll bite: Is this for download? Because it would be *amazing* if this was always there on the main menu, regardless of what cart you currently had in.
Looking forward to this. Check out my 20 track DS-10 Album if you haven't yet : http://www.archive.org/details/m3d053-cheap-dirt-by-ds10-dominator
@Gregory Block,
It looks like they're just planning a traditional, DS cart release in Japan for now, since they stress that it will work on regular DSs and DS Lites. I agree that having this as DSiWare would be great, though. Not knowing anything about Nintendo's guidelines for programs on the service though, I'm not sure anyone can guess how likely that would be.
