E3 09: Tales Of Monkey Island
We all remember Monkey Island fondly and we'll be able to relive it when Monkey Island Special Edition releases in the fall. But, many of us long for the further adventures of Guybrush Threepwood and Telltale Games is set to give us exactly what we wanted. Starting July 7th, Telltale will be producing a five part episodic game based on the classic Lucas Arts title.
Tales Of Monkey Island boasts an all new plot and some new characters as well as the return of many of your favorites. It is presented in fully rendered 3D but still retains the point and click adventure controls and feeling.
I got to check out a wee bit of the game and I must say I am very excited to try it out. It will be coming to Wiiware and PC July 7th and you can pre-order it on the Telltale website.
