E3 09: Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny To Feature Kratos

I just got back from demoing Namco's PSP version of Soul Calibur, Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny. For its first appearance on the Sony handheld, God of War's Kratos will be appearing as an extra character much Darth Vader, Yoda, Link, Spawn and others before him.

But, on to the demo. When I went to the Namco Editor's Day a month ago, this game was not playable. As a huge Soul Calibur fan I was quite disappointed so of course I jumped at the chance to play it here at E3. The thought of being able to carry Soul Calibur with me wherever I go is just too compelling.

The first thing I noticed was how amazing the graphics looked. Better than the PS2 and actually better than most things I've seen on the PSP to this point. The controls were smooth and worked just like their PS3/2 counterparts. It was like playing console SC right in your hand.

If you are Soul Calibur freak like me, this is definitely one you will want to add this to your collection. A definite high point of PSP software.
