E3 09: Bring Some Eastern Class To Your Western Console With WaSaBi
As we all know, E3 is all about the games. But in addition there are a fair amount of peripherals and other things to look at as well. I usually don't have time to look at such things as we are running at breakneck speed trying to get from appointment to appointment. However, on one such trip across the show floor, one booth caught my eye.
WaSaBi is a Japanese company that sells customization stickers and cases for your consoles and handheld devices. The products from Wasabi stand out from the crowd of techno looking customizations you usually see by going for a completely authentic Japanese style on all their products. They are serene and downright beautiful. Japanese waves, kanji, flowers and many other designs are gracefully executed to give your gadgets an all new look. They have products for almost every console and peripheral including: PSP, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, DS, Dsi, Wii, iPhone and iPod Nano. In addition, they also offer free matching Xbox and PS3 wallpapers for download.
The products are all reasonably priced and ship directly from Japan. The shipping to the US is a bit steep at $10 but if you stack up your orders it doesn't seem quite so painful and the products are so gorgeous it's worth it.
