Atlus Announces Persona Remake for NA, Makes Dreams Come True

Remakes aren't exactly the newest thing around, but once in a while one will come around that promises to fix so many of the missteps of a classic that you can't help but get excited about it. The latest remake to cause quite a stir among RPG fans is for a little game called Persona. While the original Playstation 1 title is (and remains) a classic, there's a few things that weren't exactly perfect with it. It had some nasty load times, sub-par visuals, and the less said about its unintentionally humorous translation the better! But thanks to the good folks over at Atlus, North American Shin Megami Tensei fans will be able to revisit one of the greatest entries in the sprawling series on the PSP later this year on the PlayStation Portable with additions that should make the title even better!
You want an additional quest? This update has it. How about a brand new translation? You got it. Updated artwork and levels? St. Hermelin never looked better than this good on a handheld. Best of all, Atlus continues to prove that they are indeed one of the greatest publishers around with their Atlus Spoils program by including the game's soundtrack with each copy of the first print of the game! That's two CDs that represent the complete soundtrack that Japanese fans had to shell out a ton of cash for separately from the game.
This deluxe package will be summoned at retail stores September 22. Between this and my recently acquired copies of Devil Summoner 2 and SMT: Nocturne, it seems like I'm going to be trapped in a world of demons and devils for quite some time. Seriously, can it get any better?
