Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary

RUU_0210.JPG

Dear Diary,

This week wasn't terribly eventful... no big events, no surprise visitors, nothing really that special. But I had fun anyway, and I ended up getting a couple presents, so that's nice! It's started raining a lot, but I actually don't mind for two reasons. One, I like the squishing sound my feet make when I walk in the wet grass, and two, I don't have to water all my flowers! Mother Nature takes care of that for me. Thanks, Mother Nature! Now, let me tell you what I got in the mail...

So at the beginning of the week, I got my HRA evaluation as usual, but this time, there was a present attached to the letter. Turns out that I broke 100,000 points, so I got a present! (Although if Lyle actually made this himself, I'd be extremely surprised. The guy hates his job so much he barely lifts a finger... or a paw, or whatever) It was a wide house model that I put down in the basement with my other models. It's starting to become a little model town down there in the corner!

I don't know what I added to my house to push myself over the limit. I remember buying a pink flamingo because I thought it went well with my egg furniture set. Maybe it was the sailor piece I got from Pascal last week. I don't know. It's so random sometimes...

Then I found Pete waiting outside for me on another day, and he gave me a letter from Nintendo. I love letters from Nintendo, because there's always something cool attached. This time, they mailed me a bus model for Teacher Appreciation Week. Cool! I didn't even know I was supposed to be appreciating teachers this week. Good thing I'm not in school anymore!

Man, these animals can't keep hold of their keys! This time it was Pippy who got locked out of her house and worried she'd have to forage for food. You know, like an animal? Anyway, I totally wasn't in the mood to go fishing around the river for an hour trying to dredge up her missing house key, but I had to. Anyone else, I would've left them outside to catch pneumonia in the rain or whatever, but Pippy is totally awesome, and has been my friend in every town I've ever lived in, so I'm certainly not about to let her suffer. Of course, you'd think since we're such good friends, she'd give me something better than a mega quazoid for my troubles. At least I didn't have to spend too much time fishing before I caught it!

I love going to the city because you get to meet new people all the time. Like Scoot here. He's awesome. I love that he wears a safety helmet. Fabulous. I just wish there was a way to talk them into moving into your town. I'd love Scoot to move into Narnia. Of course, first someone has to move out, and I guess that Narnia is just so fabulous that nobody wants to leave. Sigh.

While in the city, I always stop by Redd's, but I already have a serene painting. But then I popped into Gracie Grace, and was surprised to see a new furniture set on display. And it is absolutely fabulous. It's the Gracie set, and it is so retro and chic! I totally love it, but at 120,000 bells for each piece, there's no way I'm ever going to be able to afford it. Maybe when it rolls around in the rotation again this time next year, I'll have saved up enough! I love retro!

I also decided to get my hair did again because the green just wasn't working for me. No way, no how. I told her I wanted to look like a movie star, and picked "mysterious" as the kind of hair color I want. And it came out great! It almost looks like my regular hair! And it goes well with my detective outfit. Of course, that's probably going to get changed next week because I did pick up a pleather vest in Gracie Grace's that is a little bit gay and fabulous. Very leather daddy. But pleather daddy, I guess!

Blanka stopped by towards the end of the week, and things were just so slow that I actually decided to go ahead and chat her up. Normally I just ignore her because she always wants a new face, and it takes forever to draw anything good. Plus, I'm not very good with the designing. This time she said she wanted something cool, and clearly the face she started with was anything but, so I gave it my best shot. Honestly, I didn't feel like spending 20 minutes making it just pixel perfect, but I was happy enough with how it turned out. Still not sure it's "cool," though!

Also, because it's spring, I've started to catch some new bugs and fish. This week, I caught an angelfish, which I totally thought I'd already caught before, but it turns out there wasn't one in the museum, so go figure. And then later, I caught a frog in the pond. You could hear it ribbiting away, so it was obvious what the shadow was going to turn out to be. I get kind of excited when I catch something I've never seen before. What can I say? I'm just a kid at heart!

looks like we had the same events in my town! I bought the pleather vest because of its gay vibe, and i finally got a golden watering can. My last gold item to get is the golden axe, but trying to get one out of the goddess is a pain in the rear.

Here in Europe we received a Flamenco Hat in the post and a Flamenco Dress design from Wendell as well as the Bus model.

Also can someone from gay gamer run a story on Animal Crossing Community as they have again banned someone for starting a gay thread. Sure, its against their terms to state sexuality but banning? Come on gaygamer staff, cover the story.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
