Weekly XBLA Update - 5/27/09

ginger'd.jpg

Looks like we're not the only ones taking a break this week. XBLA only has a handful of announced packages, three by my count. I'm sure there will be more (namely something for Rock Band or Guitar Hero), so keep your eyes peeled folks. Two words: Telltale games... or Wallace & Gromit (I'm excluding the and there).

Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures Episode 1: Fright of the Bumblebees - 800 Points
Enter the colorful world of West Wallaby Street in the first of four cracking adventures in Wallace & Gromit Episode 1: Fright of the Bumblebees. In this first episode, the inventor and his loyal pooch are faced with a big problem. They need 50 gallons of honey by tonight--far more than their bees can handle. When Wallace's plans to step up production go horribly awry, it falls to Gromit to fight off the angry swarm.

Yosumin! LIVE - 800 Points
Yosumin! is a puzzle game where you find rectangles of matching tiles known as "yosumin" and make them disappear. Make massive rectangles for the ultimate feeling of satisfaction! Yosumin! is a deceptively simple yet fiendish challenge, and it's not just about solo play--there are online battle modes to enjoy as well!

Family Game Night: Boggle - 800 Points
Unlock the full version of Boggle and you'll be able to play the original Hasbro board game or new versions - Advanced, Word Hunt and custom modes! You'll have access to party games, unlockable items, leaderboards and achievements!

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
