Watchmen Game To Get Part 2, Will Be Sold With Blu-ray Version Of The Film
Warner Bros. has announced that the episodic Watchmen game, Watchmen: The End Is Nigh, is going to be sold part and parcel with the film's Blu-ray Director's cut when it releases in July.
Watchmen: The End is Nigh The Complete Experience will include Watchmen: The End is Nigh Parts 1 and 2 and the Watchmen: Director's Cut on Blu-ray. I would assume that you will still be able to buy the film sans game for those that don't have a PS3 or just don't care to play the title. Additionally, Parts 1 and 2 of the game will be available to be purchased individually over Xbox Live and PSN or they can be obtained all together as one package.
An interesting combination, but personally I'll be purchasing the movie on its own. If I choose to play the game, it will definitely be a download. My game shelves are fairly buckling under the weight of all those discs and besides, my OCD will not allow my to keep the game and the film in one package. They go on different shelves and never the twain shall meet.
