Video: TF2 Sniper Update Co-opted By The Spy!
Late last week, Valve started updating us on new weapons and achievement for the Sniper in Team Fortress 2. We get a few new levels, a bow and arrow that pins people to walls, a backshield that protects from spy backstabs...
Speak of the devil, however. It turns out, the Spy has taken over things! So far we've seen the Spy get two new upgrades he can choose. The Dead Ringer watch, which projects a hologram of you dying whenever you take damage, and the Cloak and Dagger watch, which lets you stay invisible permanently, as long as you don't move.
We'll see if the spy gets any more cool toys this week, but in the meantime, I am just laughing over the 'Meet the Spy' movie above.. It brings a whole new level of class to the 'Your Mother' joke. Amusingly, it got leaked a bit early, and Valve has chastised themselves by adding the achievement 'Welcome to the internets: Fail to understand what 'Private' means on YouTube.' to the end of the list of new Spy Achievements.
