SingStar Update: Britney's Stronger, Game-Boy Gets Queeny
She's had enough. She's not the property of someone else... Wait a minute... now she is! At least in DLC form.
The most recent biweekly SingStar update includes some heavy hitters, including Mrs. "Oh my god, that Britney's shameless," Cindy Lauper's gayest song ever (just in time from Pride season), a song of personal "reflection" by the Divinyls, and that Metro Station song that I seemingly cannot escape. Add the Ultimate Westlife song pack to the list, and you've got one of the best updates in a long while. Hit the jump for the full list of the update's releases.
Being the SingStar fan that I am, I recently decided to take my terrible, horrible addiction to new levels by importing the special SingStar Queen and a pair of wireless mics. The Queen disc is just as awesome as one would image. Sure, there are a few songs that I wish were on there, but anything that gives me an excuse to belt out "Who Wants To Live Forever?" is well worth its price in my book. The game will be released over here in October, but Queen super fans won't be disappointed if they choose to import it.
The set of wireless microphones that I purchased along with the Queen disc easily ranks as one of the best PS3 purchases I've ever made. When my boyfriend, General Buster, and I have get-togethers at our place, we love to bring out SingStar, but it always made me nervous to have a rowdy bunch of people pulling and tugging on a pricy PS3 with the mic cords. The wireless mics make this issue moot, only need a few batteries, and sound great. I have no idea why it's taking so long for Sony to release these mics over here, but the import price for them isn't all that bad and may be worth checking out if you use SingStar to entertain.

where'd you go to get the singstar wireless mics from across the pond?
While usually use Amazon.uk for my Euro imports and they have the mics listed at a lower price, they won't ship to the states unfortunately.
This time I had to use http://www.game.co.uk/ It was little pricier than normal, but better than dealing with eBay.com
