Prep For Wolfenstein By Playing... er, Wolfenstein!
Activision and id Software have announced that the original Wolfenstein 3D will be available for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network starting on June 3. No pricing yet, but it's just a port, so it shouldn't be too bad. It's got 60 levels of pixelly Nazi slaughtering with the occasional Hans Grosse and Mecha-Hitler thrown in for good measure.
But there is one additional feature that has been added to Wolfenstein 3D: playing it will award you accolades and award you gold for customizable weapon upgrades in id's all-new Wolfenstein, due out August 4 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Now this is the kind of cross-promotion I can get behind!

...Imagining the guy in the old game is as sexy as the one on the cover does make it much more appealing I say.
