Konami Gives Japan A Baby Contra: Contra Rebirth
Looks like Japan is going to be getting getting another taste of Contra from the fine folks at Konami. Contra Rebirth is set to release on Japanese Wii consoles as Wii Ware next week. Konami's Japanese website has released these screenshots that harken back to the old 16 bit games. The page also states that thew game will feature two player co-op! No word yet on when the game will be released state side but something tells me it won't be long. Once North American fans get wind of this, Konami is likely to get inundated with emails begging for the game's release here. Let's hope they listen or possibly face having their offices T.P.-ed and pelted with eggs by angry gamers.
