Fantastic Flash Friday: Minim
I'm a sucker for puzzle and logic games, and somehow the kids at Atomic Cicada really know how to throw one together. I enjoyed their Grid game (very similar to the Loops of Zen game I posted a few months back) and now they are back with a molecular contender, Minim.
The game presents the player with a molecule of various number and modifier atoms. Your job is to combine adjacent same number atoms to form higher numbered atoms, or combine number atoms with modifiers, until there is only one atom left, the MINIMum. The game is a simple puzzle game, that can get very complex with all its molecular structures quite easily. The best part about the game is that the molecules are constructed in a 3D matrix, and therefore your manipulation of the molecule requires you to spin and rotate the structure to properly see all possible connections and atoms.
The game had me occupied for at least an hour before I started to get stumped, but it's very easy to walk away and come back later to pick up where you left off. In order to encourage multiple playthroughs, the game rewards you bonus points on each level for how quickly you beat the level, and how few times you had to undo incorrect moves or restart the level. At anytime you can submit your score to see how you stack up against others.
Overall, Minim is a great way to work your mind and unwrap your worries whilst unraveling some molecules in a fun and clever puzzle game. Just don't go away from it thinking that you can cure cancer now.

Cool, but where can I find this? ^^
Haha... good point.
You can click on the picture to being up the game, but I forgot to add a link at the bottom. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll update it.
