Fallout 3 DLC Madness!

The folks at Bethesda have a ton of announcements about Fallout 3 DLC today. First and foremost, the current three DLC packs available on Xbox 360 (Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt and Broken Steel) will all be made available to PS3 owners of the game. Operation Anchorage is set to release on PS3 in late June with the other two to follow soon after. This should be great news for PS3 owners who thought they were going to be left out in the cold.
Next up is the announcement of two new DLC packs: Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. Point Lookout will have you exploring a vast swampland while Mothership Zeta pits you against an alien invasion. If this last one seems a bit odd, it has something to do with a crashed spaceship site you can find in the original game. Point Lookout will be available in late June for Xbox 360 and PC for 800 points or $9.99 and for PS3 later in the year. Mothership Zeta will arrive in late July for Xbox 360 and PC for 800 points or $9.99 and for PS3 after Point Lookout releases.
And last but not least, all the current and upcoming DLC will be available for Xbox 360 and PC on disc as add on packs: Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1 includes The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage and Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2 which will include Broken Steel and Point Lookout. Pack #1 is coming on May 26 with Pack #2 popping up in August. The PS3 versions of the DLC will only be available via download. However, if you want to just do away with all these extra discs and downloadable content, you can wait for the arrival of the Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition in October. It will include the original game plus all five add-ons for $59.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and $49.99 for PC.

Yes Yes Yes Yes YES!!!!!!!!!
hoorah!
I'm one happy little PS3 Fallout 3 fan now!
As a PS3 owner and "Fallout 3" fan, I'm very pleased by this. The only question is: what was the point of all that? Why make us wait? Was it so Microsoft could puff themselves up for a few months? Are they really so fragile that they need phony exclusives?
This is awesome news. I have a 360 so the extra packs are great news, and a lot of my friends thought they were screwed with their PS3 version so good news for them.
I just feel bad for all of the people that level grinded (ground?) up to 30 in broken steel. Maybe they will give us an even higher cap this time.
I'm glad that they're releasing the PC DLC on disc faster than they did for Oblivion. I want the extra stuff, but there's no way I'm going to use GfWLS and give Micro$oft any more money than I am already forced to do. Here' to hoping that all of the money goes to BethSoft so they can keep making awesome games.
