Fallout 3 Could Have Featured Bill Clinton

What becomes a post-apocalyptic game like Fallout 3 better than a pre-apocalyptic presidential player like Bill Clinton? That's what Lev Chapelsky tells Edge Online - Chapelsky, general manager of game-specific talent firm Blindlight, says his company tried to recruit the frisky President to do some voiceover work on Bethesda's RPG:
Celebrity acquisition applies not just to celebrity actors but to sports figures, politicians - we've made offers to Bill Clinton for videogames and gotten great responses with attorneys who have said, 'The former president will not participate in one of your videogame products, thank you very much'...What project did you ask Bill Clinton for?
I think that might have been to play the president in Fallout 3. Wouldn't that have been brilliant? You get to that point in game and you hear that voice in the ether coming from off-camera and you're like, 'I know that guy!'
William Jefferson Clinton as John Henry Eden? Sorry, Malcom McDowell, you're a lovely an actor and the go-to guy for generic villains of all kinds, but Bill Clinton would have knocked you out of the park! Although the Capitol Wasteland might have had a serious problem with meandering broadcast spheres rubbing themselves up against the nearest, sexiest human, ghoul, mutant or Brahmin female.
Maybe this is why there are no cigars in Fallout 3, only cigarettes?
