Death To Productivity: Flash 10 Doom Port Now With Hexen And Heretic
What could be better than wasting your entire day in a browser? Wasting it on a video game, that's what. Adobe has been making major strides on improving their plugin since they aquired Macromedia. Likewise, people have been putting it to good use.
The infamous "Mike" has improved his existing port of Doom to flash (using alchemy) to do what I thought was nearly impossible: Play Heretic and Hexen. It also runs at a decent speed, considering what they are doing with a browser. The controls are faithful, and so long as you're not attached to the music, you're all set.
Note these are only the demo WADs, so don't expect to get a complete experience. It's still a very good way to waste an otherwise productive day.
