PopCap & Blizzard Lace WoW With More Addictive Fun
After PopCap hired a clever WoW add-on developer to do an official version of his original "Besharded" Bejeweled clone add-on, which was enormously popular, it can't come as any surprise that the casual giant is eager to shoehorn more of its compulsively brilliant games into Blizzard's compulsively metastasized MMO. Those long minutes between flight points or waiting for friends and raid groups can now be spent in the same kind of distracted haze as you might spend at work. And while most folks might point to Blizzard as the evil overlord in this scenario, the fact that Bejeweled can now interrupt both work and play makes me wonder if the folks at PopCap aren't, in fact, invading aliens of the Alec-Baldwin-Hulu-ad ilk:
After we successfully brought the Bejeweled experience into WoW, the PopCap Guild decided to tackle another of our favorite things: Peggle.We wanted something more competitive that we could use to settle loot disputes and challenge each other while we waited for that last raid member to log on. We've packed in some great touches for the add-on version of Peggle, and now it's ready to be shared with the world!
