Edgeworth Takes The Case

Edgeworth_Eureka.jpg

Now that they got our petticoats all ruffled from their teacup offers in Japan earlier this month, looks like Capcom finally has some good news for Miles Edgeworth fans in the US and Europe. Today they announced that the Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth title due to launch in Japan next month will be coming to the west this winter. That's right, everyone's favorite former prosecutor Miles Edgeworth is getting his own game.

Looks like this new game in the series will focus more on the crime scene investigation. It also has a new "logic" system that allows you to combine items found during the investigation in combination with each other to lead to an "Eureka" discovery to help blow a case wide open. Do not worry, Capcom still promises that while the courtroom may not be as prominent in this game, it will still play an important role in each mystery and with you solving the case.

With the game focusing on the crime scenes, I'm sure another fan favorite of the game, Detective Gumshoe, will be playing a role in this game. Hopefully they'll finally shed some light on to why Gumshoe is always so worried about Edgy-poo. And who knows with one character getting his spotlight in the Phoenix Wright universe maybe those of you would like to get up close and personal with Detective Gumshoe might find your favorite hero getting his own game if this one does well.

There's a trailer for the game after the jump.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
