Chronicles of Spellborn Launches in UK and US

Well, some of you might remember me telling everyone about the (partial) European launch of The Chronicles of Spellborn during the last holiday season. Well after a few months of server setup and beta testing, the MMORPG based around skill and aim is finally launching in the UK and the US, and I have to admit that I'm pretty excited to try it out.
To kick off the launch, Acclaim has decided to give everyone that signs up for an account between now and May 7th two free weeks of premium play. That means you can play all you want until your heart's content and gives you amply opportunity to dabble with the character classes and combat system as well as exploring the rich and dense lore behind the Spellborn universe. The game normally has a 'Freeium' play model, which means you can play to a certain level for free and then your progression is halted until you purchase a subscription, but this will be lifted during the 2 week launch event.
All in all you don't have anything to lose from trying out the game, and a lot to gain, since this really is an MMORPG that is trying to be something more than just another World of Warcraft clone. The fact that you must aim your attacks, and that all attacks focus on one of three attributes is more than enough to get me to try it out and put the game to the test.
Try the game out for yourself by going to its website and click on the "Download the Game for Free" billboard on the right. Sign up for an account and start your two free weeks of fun (after you finish the initial 3GB download and then patching). I'll probably be on their myself, so look for PixelPoet or some variation thereof.
