Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary
Dear Diary,
This was kind of a quiet week in Narnia. It started off well, because as I'd expected, March 1 brought with it a whole new batch of bugs and fish to catch. I didn't notice anything new in the ocean, but I caught a few new fish in the river and donated them to the museum. There were also new pretty butterflies flitting around, which makes the town look nicer.
I had some luck with a fine painting that turned out to be real, and checked out all the dinosaurs to find that I actually only need two more fossils to finish the collection. I need a parasaur tail and one of the single fossils on the upstairs back shelf. No way of knowing which one that is, though!
Spring is nice, but things are still frustrating in Narnia, but more on that after the jump...
Pippy lost her key, and it took freakin' forever to retrieve it from the river. I don't usually mind doing the favor for my careless pals, but this one got under my skin. I didn't want to give up, though, because Pippy is my BFF, and I need to keep her happy. Although it did make me wonder what happens if you don't find their missing key for them. They complain about being locked out of the house, but will they still be outside tomorrow? Or will they somehow find a way into their home? I should try that sometime. But when it's someone I don't like!
Blanka swung by, and before I knew what I was doing, I'd already started talking to her. So I ended up having to make her a face. I never put that much effort into it, though. Hey, it's not as if she ever sees the results! She wanted serious, so I gave her serious. Whatever.
Fang made some noise about leaving earlier in the week, so I shut that right down on the quick fast. I like the grouchy folks. He and Octavian need to stick around. Let's run the sweet and nice ones out of town! Not that ignoring them ever seems to work. Heck, later in the week, Olivia mentioned wanting to leave, and I had to tell her not to. I'd thought she was a sweet one when she moved in, but it turns out she's actually kind of bitchy, which I totally love.
I stopped by the city to get my shoes shined because I wanted to wear my tuxedo and top hat combo to dress things up for a change, but the rainbow sneakers I had been wearing threw off the whole look. I suppose I should've gotten a trim, too, but I still kind of dig my albino onion head! I just need a monocle to complete the look!
Oh, also, I've been planting trees all over the place like a crazy person. Any area where there seems to be a lot of space in between trees, I plant another one. I got excited when I saw a Jacob's Ladder growing randomly in the lower part of town, because I recall those being a sign that your town is perfect. My last town, I had a whole ton of them all around Town Hall. But when I checked in with Pelly, she still told me there were areas that needed more green. Huh. There are trees and flowers everywhere. What more do these people want from me? Sigh.
I should probably have an expert come in and take a look to give me some advice since I'm clearly missing something obvious. It never took me this long to get my other towns perfect. It's starting to cheese me off.

now all you need is last season's masquerade mask to complete the tuxedo mask look.
LOL ... that's totally the look I put together for my character ... Tuxedo Mask!! =)
