Vote For Your Favorite Indie Game To Win An IGF Award
With big developers pushing out shooter after shooter, and sequel after sequel, it might seem that there is very little innovation happening in the industry. That's where indie developers come in, introducing new ideas not only through unique visual styles, but also through unique gameplay that a developer with a multi-million dollar budget can't take a risk on. In just a few short weeks the Independent Games Festival will honor those indie developers, and you get to help pick the winners. Or at least in one category, the IGF Audience Award.
There are a ton of great games up for nomination this year. Don't worry if you haven't played them, since the IGF site provides links to download all of the nominated games (with the exception of PSN, Live Arcade, and Xbox Community Games nominees) so you can try them all out before you vote. Right now I'm torn between CarneyVale Showtime, PixelJunk Eden, and Dyson. But then I also have a soft spot for Osmos, Coil, and You Have To Burn The Rope. It's really a tough decision since all of the nominees are stellar.
Voting is over at the IGF website, which is also where you can download the games, so why not check it out and help give indie developers the recognition they deserve.

it sounds a good news for us. maybe somebody wanna try it.
