Ubisoft Launches Classic Titles On GOG
Ubisoft has signed a deal with classic gaming service GOG to offer many of their classic games on the site. For those unfamiliar, GOG offers cheap, legal purchase of classic games. No DRM, no repurchasing. Once you buy it you own it and can redownload it whenever you want. Included are often many extras like wallpapers and soundtracks, and all games work with XP and Vista.
Included in this agreement are Beyond Good and Evil, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946. Coming soon will also be Far Cry, Heroes of Might and Magic, and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six. More games will be coming over time.
