Netflix Screws Blu-Ray Owners With $3 Price Hike

I received a rather irritating email from Netflix yesterday stating that they would be raising the price of Blu-Ray access. Formerly I had been paying a dollar each month for the ability to get the movies I chose on Blu-Ray rather than regular DVD if Blu-Ray was available. Now, citing the expensive price of Blu-Rays and an expanding library, the charge is going from $1 a month to $4 a month. (The price of the regular plan remains the same however) Quite a significant hike taking my former $17.99 fee to $20.99.
If you are like me and enjoy using your PS3 for watching Blu-Rays and have the option ticked on your Netflix account, I encourage you to remove the plan and send an email to Netflix stating your feelings on the matter. If enough people cancel the Blu-ray service and send in emails, perhaps they will reconsider this rather outrageous price hike.

I went from 2 at a time to 1 at a time. This really pissed me off also.
The price hike is as high as $8 depending on your plan - I rent 4 movies at a time, and it will now cost me $5 a month for Blu Ray access!
Does anyone even know HOW to send feedback to Netflix?
I'm probably going to drop down from 4-out to 3-out just to keep the cost balanced. I could have dealt with a $1-2 increase, but quintupling the price in this economy? Not so much.
+$5 for me as well. Sucks
Yeah! Because seriously, Netflix has shown over and over that they're just grubbing for a few extra bucks! Someone's making out like a bandit over this, I just know it!
That does it, I'm switching to Blockbuster. With their indie cred, I can be sure they'll only ever screw me if their own costs go up!
I'm sure they're doing it for a reason. They wouldn't institute such a hike unless they had to.
People over-react a lot....
They claim it's because that the discs are more expensive, and they are more prone to breaking.
And while there may indeed be an increased cost, I don't think it's in the neighborhood of the percentages they're asking consumers to absorb.
I understand they need to recoup expenses, but reducing the increase 50% would be more appropriate.
Switched to Blockbuster.
Cheaper, same service and you get both BluRay and HDDVD without paying extra. Why would they do this when their competition has the same for less?
