Home Gets Resident Evil Realm

... and then there was a home for the mindless zombies that play Home. Yes, I'm starting off with a joke that pokes fun at the players of that "game". My personal feelings aside, there is a great deal of engineering that went into it and I respect the developers that produced it. I just wish they would have made it entertaining.

Okay, so it's not that bad. As far as social realms for home consoles go it's really quite the tops. And there are less "Will cam for Meseta" offers! Not only is Capcom moving to add a Resident Evil realm, they are also bringing a Street Fighter IV area as well.

"As games become richer with graphics, embrace deeper storylines and character development, fans are getting hungry for more," said Jack Buser, director of PlayStation Home, SCEA. "Developers like Capcom understand the potential PlayStation Home provides fans - a platform in which the community can come together to talk about their games, strategize, trade tips and tricks as well as interact directly with the brand"

Owners of Resident Evil 5 will be happy to know that not only does this new area add a way to talk to fellow fans of the series, it will also provide users with the opportunity to download additional content to the game including new themed items and costumes. Also, players will be able to launch the games 'co-op' mode directly from the RE5 realm. Certainly make Home seem moderately more appealing.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
