GayGamer Week In Review - Week Of 3/23/2009

  • Much of the big news of the week was coming out of the Game Developers Conference. Check out the bulk of our coverage here.

  • Left 4 Dead dated its free DLC package for April 21st.

  • Game Boy gave us a second opinion about the Nintendo DSi.

  • Wootini braved giant flaming monkeys to bring us coverage of Nintendo's New York Pokemon Platinum launch party.

  • GayGamers had two gatherings this week: one at GDC in lovely (I assume) San Francisco and another in tempestuous Chicago. Our jet-setting captain Fruit Brute managed to appear at both.

  • An employee of Lionhead Studios is suing Microsoft due to their inability to curb employees' sexual harassment and homophobia.

  • Fallout 3 expansion The Pitt ended up on Xbox Live a little half baked, but was replaced with a fully functional version shortly afterword.

  • Punch Out!'s Disco Kid seems a little... fancy.

  • It was a week filled with exciting haberdashery for Wootini in his Animal Crossing Diary.

The DSi information seems interesting, but I wonder how long the transition time will be, as its trying to maintain backwards compatibility while having new hardware built in.
