- Microsoft reiterated that any "sexual" references are grounds for suspension, although they are devising some way to let openly gay gamers be out on their service.
- Nintendo detailed a massive 120 game release schedule for their systems, including Punch Out!, Excitebots, and The Legendary Starfy.
- Game Boy went back to the Future Tactics.
