Deals: World Of Goo $5 This Weekend On Steam
Yeah, we've talked about it a lot, but as one of the best games of last year, World of Goo really deserves the press. If none of those other times we cajoled and coaxed you into buying the game worked, consider this: the weekend's special deal over at Steam gets you World of Goo for $4.99. That's a savings of 75%, and pretty much as good a deal as you're likely to see for a while. Hopefully a few of those that took advantage of the game's lack of DRM will finally make that purchase. Plus, if everyone bought the game, we probably wouldn't have to talk about it anymore. Think of it as the blog form of extortion.
Also over at Steam this weekend, you can download and play Unreal Tournament 3 for free, and if you enjoy it, you can pick up the Black version of the game for $11.99. Not a bad deal either.

That... sucks. I just bought the game a couple of weeks ago! I might not have been worth $20, but it was defiantly worth $5!
And it's all Windows only. Any other mac users feel left out in the cold again? You'd think i would have gotten used to this by now...

I thought the game was kind of "meh" from the trailers I saw, but then when this deal came out, I downloaded the demo and liked what I saw, so I bought it. It's definitely been a $5 well spent so far.

Daggit, when I tried buying over the weekend I got error messages. Missed out on an awesome game. Though I think eventually I will bite the bullet and get it for $20.
