Aeria Games Introduces Same Gender Marriages To MMORPG
Free-to-play anime-tastic casual MMORPG Dream of Mirror Online just got a little bit dreamier: developer Aeria Games announced today the addition of same gender marriages into their premiere title.
While I must confess that despite being the resident MMO dood, I've yet to join the five million other players and take a dip into DoMO, but now that my potentially adorable little toon can marry another fella, you can bet your bottom's dollars that I'll be giving it a try. Billed as a light but addictive MMO experience, Dream of Mirror Online's unique marriage system offers a quest-based challenge for two players of any and either gender, allowing the happy couple to embark on an adventure of planning an in-game wedding - from selecting a venue, picking out the perfect outfits and choosing rings.
Once wedded, two players will gain unique powers such as the ability to summon their hubby/wife and completely heal their hot gay lover during battle.

Thats a shame... I used to play this as well with a guy on there that we did everything together. We didnt play unless the other was online.
You got special abilities for becoming friends or lovers or teacher/student, which you can then upgrade the level of that status with special items.
We were pissed that we couldn't become lovers =( We had to settle for friends instead, even got the friend level to maximum, which takes a lot of time (or money if you take the quick way)
But yeah... we stopped playing after a while. guess we both got bored of the game xD
Well, that's odd. It's amazing that an online world that's asian created is more progressive then California.
