Video Trifecta: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes Of Time
March 24th will see the release of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time for both the Wii and DS, in which DS and Wii players shall overcome cuteness and evil together.
Don't confuse this with the equally cute/evil Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, which Dawdle posted over the weekend. This is the other FFCC game heading to the Wii.
So what if Square's got their best and brightest working on FFXIII? The dual-pronged Crystal Chronicles approach will satisfy the fanboys' longings, and those who have criticized the FFCC games for being - well, kinda bad - they probably won't be changing their minds.

So looking fwd to this title :D I loved the game play from Ring of fates so I'm so picking this up :). Only thing is that first video was slightly creepy I so saw that becoming a kiddy rape scene and I was like this is so not happening in a FF lol
The things about most of the Crystal Chronicles games is that they have some really strong points, but are dragged down by their weak points.
FFCC for Gamecube had a really interesting plot and a really unique system, but multiplayer was to complicated and people where expect a "real" Final Fantasy.
I liked the battle system in Ring of Fates, but the story was TERRIBLE and the characters were really annoying.
So if they took the Ring of Fates battle system and fixed some of the mistakes and made the story not suck, it could be really good.
Hopefully the multiplayer will at least be fun. It's a same that the Wii version doesn't look any better graphic wise. And whats with the left/right screen swapping things?
Anyway, I'll probably get Echoes and Crystal Bearers too, because that looks awesome.
OK... so was the opening a little pedophile scary to anyone else? Seriously what hell was that all about?
