Video: Space Invaders Not So 'Happy Up Here'

Be weary of the lights in major metropolitan areas, because if the video above is true, they'll one day come together to try and destroy our world a la Space Invaders and the only thing to save us, apparently, is taxi cabs shooting light beams. Having had some taxicab rides here in San Francisco let me tell you something, while their agility on the streets may be high, it's going to end up being one expensive bill for them to save us.

I have to admit, I actually found this video through Facebook, since a music junkie friend of mine linked it on his profile yesterday. The video is by Röyksopp, and the song, Happy Up Here, is the first single to be released off their upcoming album titled Junior. It turns out the band's music has been featured in FIFA 06, and was even part of the start up music to the Mac OS X Panther operating system. Apparently they get around in the technology ad circles. I'm just happy to see that the vision of invaders from space that was conceived in the 70s has finally been given a proper upgrade, and killer music to match.
