Video: Omnious Mass Effect 2 Teaser Released
This teaser for Mass Effect 2 was just released... and it paints a grim picture of the fate of a certain Spectre. Can it be true? Or is it some ploy to draw out the Reapers?

Whoa! Cool! Nice that this came out, hopefully we'll be getting more trailers soon. Given that we've been told we can import our character data, I doubt Shephard is truly dead but... who knows, maybe Bioware reversed itself on that promise but again I doubt it. Nice teaser, though... leaves me wanting more.
As I've said before, I hope against hope that Shepard IS dead. As much as I loved my little Irish space-lesbian, RPG sequels ALWAYS feel like a cop-out because either you start fresh at an arbitrarily inflated level, or you're busted down to level 1 and have your abilities and gear stolen by a similarly arbitrary chance event. Both are in the name of making the game playable for newcomers, and both are absolutely infuriating. What I hope is that you CAN import your data, and that your choices in ME 1 have an effect on the world of ME 2, but that Shepard is a thing of the past/possible NPC or party member, and you play as a brand spanking new Spectre following in the old girl's footsteps.

Oh My Fraking God...are you kidding me...No..NO..and again..No..he better not be dead...I freak'in fell in love with Shepard..he was so cute....he can't be dead...I'll still buy the game when it comes out..I freak'in loved the first one..I think I played through it 4 times...
I won't believe it....
