Are Violent Video Games Adequately Preparing Children For The Apocalypse?
With all the drama surrounding violent videogames, it's rare that anyone actually suggests that they might actually be helping teens. Of course, I'm not talking about getting out pent-up aggression in a safe way that doesn't inflict bodily harm upon another human being... no, I mean the really important stuff, like whether or not playing Fallout 3 will help prepare you to survive in a post-apocalyptic urban wasteland. Thank goodness The Onion is there to discuss this important subject. Where would we be without them? (Seriously, though, I love The Onion. Best. Newspaper. Ever.)
