Show Your Capcom Love With A Pre-Paid Capcom Unity Card
If there's one thing many of us don't need to do right now, it's acquire more debt. But at the same time it's always cool go out shopping and flash a cool credit card that expresses your personality. Well, it seems that Capcom is going to give you the best of both worlds by offering Capcom themed pre-paid credit cards. Basically, you fill the card with XX amount of dollars and then you can use it wherever they take Visa. So besides the little word "debit" over the Visa logo, no one will ever know that you aren't really destroying the economy! The cards will come in several Capcom themed flavors including Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Bionic Commando and more. Card holders will also receive other rewards from Capcom:
Capcom is developing a larger suite of rewards for Capcom Unity card holders above and beyond the standard incentives. Not only will Unity members be earning points on Capcom Unity with every purchase, but Unity card holders will find a new level of access to all things Capcom opening to them. Unity card holders may be able to "jump the line" at Capcom events or gatherings, gain access to Beta tests for new Capcom or other "experiential" rewards that extend beyond the online space, such as being written into a Capcom game or comic book or possibly even being an extra in a Capcom movie. Using the Capcom Unity Visa at Capcom's own e-store will also save players 15% on their purchase, which means real savings on the games they were planning on buying.
Sounds like there are a lot of possibilities down the line, but for now I just want to go out and terrorize shop keeps with my zombie themed debit card. Too bad there's not a bloody zombie on it or at least a shirtless Chris Redfield...
