Netflix Subscription Downloads Reach A Million On Xbox LIve

It seems that over a million people have now downloaded and activated Netflix on their Xbox 360s. Not too shabby considering the service only became available a few months ago. I would be curious to know how many of these were new sign ups to Netflix itself. I know that personally I reinstated my Netflix account when the product launched on 360 and I convinced several friends to join based on the streaming movies. I also stream to my laptop and my desktop computers, but the bulk of my Netflix viewing is on the Xbox. And while the selection could certaily be better, there are still quite a few things out there to keep you occupied for a while. Digging through the Instant Watch offerings can sometimes yield a gem or two you might not have seen before and they add new stuff weekly. However, I do find that waiting a few weeks between searches of new material gets better results.
So, how many of you watch streaming movies on your Xbox and how many of those got the service specifically for Xbox use?

I used to use Watch Instantly on the Xbox a lot before my DSL connection went to shit, mostly to watch TV shows. I got caught up on 30 Rock that way. Now that I'm a cable modem customer I'll be starting back soon. Based on the numbers MS gave out, the average user has watched 25 hours. I think I've probably reached that.
I myself actually signed up for Netflix because of the Xbox Live offer. I stopped using Xbox Live Gold after Halo 2. I just happened to walk into a Sears store that had one of the old XBox Live Gold packs with two free Arcade games, Microsoft points, 1 year of service, and the USB camera for $12. They had two. I bought both for $24. They were one of the first ones that they had misplaced and it was at a severe discount to get rid of the product.
So now that I have like 2 1/2 years of XBox Live.. I've used it for Netflix. I personally don't think that paying for Gold is worth the Netflix service, but I found this awesome deal so why not.
I'll admit, I signed up for Netflix because of the New Experience feature to have "Movie Night" with your friends. (Still waiting on that feature). Anyway, since I got rid of cable, I'm finding Netflix to be more and more useful almost everyday.
