Last Day To Get Legendary Pokemon Shaymin At TRU
Pokemaniacs, in case it somehow slipped by you, today is the last day to stop by a local Toys 'R' Us and grab the legendary pokemon Shaymin for your copy of Pokemon Diamond or Pearl. As with other legendary giveaways, this is the only (legitimate) way to get the adorable hedgehog-shaped grass type, so if you haven't made the trip yet, better head out soon. It's also the perfect last minute Valentine's surprise: what guy doesn't want his man to run out and get him a legendary pokemon? It's better than chocolate.
The offer is only at Toys 'R' Us Stores in the United States or Puerto Rico (sorry everywhere else). The Shaymin is in its "land forme," the aforementioned grassy hedgehog, but if you plan on getting Pokemon Platinum when it releases this March 22, you can trade your Shaymin to the new game, pick up a Gracidea in Floaroma Town and convert it to it's "sky forme," which has angry eyes meaning it is totally hardcore. Do these work the same as the download stations for demos? Just need to bring my DS to the store and not look too creepy while loitering around, waiting for it to download? Or do they have a special DS set up to pop my game into?
When you say legitimate, do you mean that there is a black market for pokemons? some way to pirate them?

There are ways to clone pokemon, although previously Shaymin didn't get the treatment because you still had to have one to clone, and nobody really did. Expect them to be easy to come by now if you try and get a trade online.
wait, there are Toys R Us-es that are still open? all the ones nearby me were doing a stock liquidation/closing months ago. =/
Hey thanks to your entry I went to my local Toy's R' Us and got myself one little Shaymin. I was also like, huh? Where do I go. So as I walked in I loaded Pokémon Diamond, selected mystery gift and it download it right away via wireless. Where was it coming from, who knows I didn't see any sign or station anywhere.

I still think my dog could take Shaymin in a fair fight.
