Gallery: Major Minor's Majestic March

We here at the castle have been following Major Minor's Majestic March since it was announced last year. This Wii music game uses the remote for a baton which you use to direct the music. The game is designed by Masaya Matsuura artwork with artwork by Rodney Allan Greenblatt, both of Parappa the Rappa fame. Here's a little explanation of the gameplay from the press release...
While marching through 7 fantastical locations, players can induct up to 30 new band members and add over 20 different instruments to their procession. By keeping the rhythm and leading the band around dangerous obstacles, players can unlock new characters, difficulty levels, and more! Players can also enjoy Major Minor's Majestic March with friends in Cooperative Multiplayer Mode and Contest Multiplayer Mode, or march solo in Single Player Mode. With over 20 popular marching band tunes to step to, Major Minor's Majestic March promises to be a fun rhythm title for gamers of all ages!
Somehow this seems much more engaging than Wii Music in my mind, But we shall see how it all turns out when the game is released on March 24. Check out the gallery below for some screenshots!

This better include a Lammy cameo.
*hugely marching band dork comment to follow*
The only thing that bothers me about this game is that drum majors with batons don't actually keep time for the band, which is why they always count off with whistle blows and then the drumline takes over or I've even seen bands use one drum major with a baton and one to actually conduct the band.
