Atlus Adds Gameplay To Ys
Not content to add free soundtrack CDs as bonuses with their games, Atlus has apparently decided to go ahead and add more gameplay, too. Their remake of Ys for the Nintendo DS, Legacy of Ys: Books I & II, will actually feature a whole new level featuring new equipment and an additional boss. In previous Ys games, the Vageux-Vardette was only mentioned in passing, but now gamers will be able to explore the legendary crater and set foot upon its sacred ground.
"The Vageux-Vardette is one of the more eye-catching aspects of Ys I geography, and now Nintendo DS players can explore the natural expansion of the Ys universe in an exclusive new level," said Sam Mullen Project Lead of Legacy of Ys: Books I & II.

So not only do you get the first two games in the legendary RPG series on one DS cartridge, you get enhanced graphics and sound, a soundtrack CD and now an extra level of adventure. Oh Atlus, every time I think I couldn't love you more, you prove me wrong... what's next?
