Wii Rock Band DLC Is Just The Beginning

jimmy_buffett_hd.jpg

The Wii rockers haven't been getting the regular updates the PS3 and Xbox 360 users are getting, but Harmonix and MTV Games just announced another six tracks of downloadable content for Rock Band 2 on Nintendo's storage-impaired console. The songs are:

"March of the Pigs" by Nine Inch Nails
"The Collector" by Nine Inch Nails
"Rockaway Beach" by the Ramones
"I Fought The Law" by the Clash
"Margaritaville" by Jimmy Buffett
"Volcano" by Jimmy Buffett

All six tracks will be available starting today, January 20, for 200 Wii Points each. But wait, that's not all. In the press release, they also reveal that "Wii fans can expect a rollout of the previously released downloadable content every week until the entire back catalog of more than 500 songs is available. In addition, the regularly scheduled future DLC releases for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system will also be available for Rock Band 2 Wii owners starting in February."

That's amazing news for Wii rockers... but where are you supposed to put all those songs?

As much as the storage space is an issue to myself would every Rock Band lover shell out for all 500 tracks?

500 tracks x 200 wii points each = 1000 Dollars

I think some users MAY have enough storage space for some tracks they want.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
