Rumorama: DSi Coming Stateside In April

Last year in Japan Nintendo launched the DSi as a redesign of their already redesigned DS Lite. Packing new features such as a camera, MP3 playback, and an SD card (as well as region locking for DSi specific games and the loss of the GBA slot) the DSi expanded the functionality of the handheld. And now it finally looks like those of us outside of Japan will get to have one of our own.
According to "multiple sources close to Nintendo" the DSi will be launched in the US on April 4th with a price of $179.99. That will make it $50 more expensive than the current DS Lite, but personally I feel that the new features are significant enough to warrant that kind of price.
Are any of you thinking of picking up a DSi in April? Even though my iPhone already covers most of the DSi's new features I have to admit that I'm tempted, but with my birthday the day after the DSi launch, April 5th, maybe one of our fabulous, beautiful readers would get me a gift? No? Oh well, at least I tried.

I'm seriously thinking about picking one up.I'm still using my launch day system & my screen is getting pretty worn. I've got big hands so the Lites & even the DSI's seem too small, but seeing as though they don't sell the big ones anymore, I guess I'm stuck. Some of the new features sound cool.
