Remembering The Good Times: Get The 1Up Show Soundtrack
On his Twitter, Ryan O'Donnell has posted a link to the 1Up Show soundtrack, a compilation of original compositions that have been featured on the show over the years. With the sale of the site to UGO/Hearst and all of the 1Up Show's creators laid off, here's your chance to recall your favorite memories of the show. Like the one where they did all that goofy stuff with the tiny dog. Or wore wool hats entirely inappropriate for the weather. Even if you weren't a big fan of the show's style, it definitely had a passion that's missing in a lot of videogame vodcasts, and the existence of this soundtrack is partially proof of that.
Most of the songs are by O'Donnell himself, but other familiar faces from the show have contributed music as well. There are also, like, a dozen versions of the ultra-catchy 1Up Show Theme Song, which I'm still humming in my head.
Additionally, the creators of the show have decided to keep on going with the video thing, and have put up a donation page at their site, Talking Orange. Obviously they're still working out the details, but fans should look forward to seeing something new from the gang as soon as next Friday, according to the page.

Awesome! I love the soundtrack for the show. The theme song routinely get's stuck in my head for hours.
I just gave it a listen through. It definitely makes me a bit emotional that it's all done and over. At least we have this to hold on to.
This is why I love those guys. Even with the big steaming pile of crap they've been dealt, they're still going on. I think I know a better use for my lunch money this week.
