Get Your Red Hot Alaska Here! Operaton Anchorage Launches
The moment Fallout 3 fans have been waiting for has finally arrived! The first expansion to the highly acclaimed Fallout 3, Operation Anchorage, is now available for PC and Xbox! The price is set at 800 MS points which approximately translates to around $10 in real world money. At first glance this seems a bit pricey, but I will withhold judgment until I actually play it and see how much content is actually provided. If the other two follow the same pricing structure, that's already $30 bucks on top of the $60 already spent on the game. A bit of a hefty price tag for a game in these hard times and one wonders how long before the three will be available for a more discounted price. Bethesda had already set a precedent for such things with Oblivion and I suspect we will probably see a Fallout 3 GOTY Edition with competitive pricing coming sometime later this year. But seeing as I am impatient, I will likely be downloading this before the end of the day. Be sure to check back here for impressions if you want some background before you buy!
