Fallout 3's Operation Anchorage Has Four New Achievements

The first pack of DLC for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Fallout 3 is almost here, available for 800 Microsoft Points ($10) on January 27th. We already knew that the episode would allow us the opportunity to play through a "legendary" battle of the Fallout universe - the Chinese invasion of Alaska - and a couple of folks over at the Fallout Wiki have now posted the four new achievements that the DLC will offer, for a total of 100 new points for your gamerscore. Point your eyes somewhere else if you think you may want to avoid knowing the titles of the achievements, but just knowing the names of them isn't terribly spoilery.
- Aiding the Outcasts - 20 points
- The Guns of Anchorage - 20 points
- Paving the Way - 20 points
- Operation: Anchorage - 40 points
See, that still leaves plenty to the imagination. If these achievements are anything like the ones in the regular game, there will be a few different ways to earn them, depending on your play style.
Microsoft allows 250 points to be added to a game's total score via DLC, meaning the next two packs, The Pitt and Broken Steel, will have to split 150 points. Broken Steel will be the last pack, due in March, and will extend the level cap and let you continue building your character from the main game. Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt are both standalone adventures, and will add weapons and armor to the regular campaign, but only after their quests are beaten.

As a former Alaskan from Anchorage, I look forward to seeing the post apocalyptic remains of my home town!
