All Day Game Deals In Monday's Amazon Gold Box [Updated]
Amazon.com's just sent out an alert that Monday, January 12, their daily Gold Box discount bin will be bursting with videogame deals. There are no clues yet, but considering that the holidays are over and they're no doubt sitting on a good chunk of stock that didn't move as quickly as they had hoped, you might expect more than a few of last season's big titles. Or just a bunch of Petz games. Who knows?
For those unfamiliar with the concept, the Gold Box promotion features a single deal at a deep discount that lasts all day (or until stock runs out), as well as "lightning" deals that last for a very limited time, or again, until some predetermined number of items are sold. The discounts are usually pretty good, but the best items require a bit of forethought and time management, as you're basically fighting all of the internet for the chance to give Amazon your cash.

It appears the "clues" have leaked for the hourly deals. Most seem pretty easy to figure out, or at least narrow down, but I'll let you do that on your own. The main deal for the day is still a mystery though, so make sure and check Amazon early Monday morning if you're interested.
- 6:00 AM - Romp through the garden with your pets.
- 8:00 AM - A PS3 game that dreams are made of.
- 11:00 AM - This should hold you over on Xbox 360 until Final Fantasy XIII releases.
- 12:00 PM - A kid named Ben + Aliens + Wii = Bensational!
- 2:00 PM - Slimy and award-winning - what else would a PC owner want?
- 4:00 PM - An alternative to No Child Left Behind.
- 6:00 PM - Get bonus goodies with this radiant crescent.

The gold box deals are genius, they keep me glued to amazon and I usually end up buying something, even if it's not one of the deals.
