What Stuffed Your Stocking?

With the holidays winding down, you've likely unwrapped most of your presents and exchanged your gifts, and if you got any games, you've likely torn off the shrinkwrap and started right in. Now's your chance to tell us, what was your haul this year? Hopefully you were on the nice list this year, and got everything you asked for, or maybe someone surprised you with something unexpected. Perhaps you didn't rely on Santa, family, or the significant other, and have gone out and bought yourself a little something at one of the post-holiday sales going on right now.
The only game that was on my list this year was Prince of Persia; with the back-log I've dug myself into, a pretty game that may be a little too easy sounds just about perfect right now, and will help me take my mind off of 80 hour Personas and the fact that I've barely touched the online levels in LittleBigPlanet. What I really needed for Christmas was about three weeks of time-off work and unfettered TV time, but I didn't find that under the tree this year.

I finally got my Wii!
So I'm playing the hell out of SSB:B right now, if anyone wants to play hit me up!
Gitar Hero World Tour from my sis and cousin.
PSN $50 card from my mom and a PS Headset from my dad.
Nothing but family love.
Oh. and also I got RE:Chain of memories and resistance 2 for myself.
Happy new year..!!
OMG, I *heart* Tom's Christmas Gift. What fun!
The only games I got for Christmas were Call of Duty 4 and Left 4 Dead, which I already had. So its gift exchange time. I have to figure out what I want to get.
Wii Points from a friend, Microsoft Points from a friend and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune from my parents (which, sadly enough, is the best damn game on the PS3 but also the shortest. It lasted one day).
I had a great time singing The Pretenders - Blue Christmas. So those Microsoft Points surely justified themselves. On the Wii I bought Helix and Ys 1&2.
Besides that, AGTP gave every SRW-fan a fabulous christmas present. What mecha-fanboy or fangirl doesn't want to crush robots with their favorite doujinshi Gundam W boy during the winter holidays? ;)
Quatre...
Got a ps3 with LBP and Uncharted.. Great Fun
My mom managed to score a NES2 + controller and a ton of games. Most of the games were crap, but it did have Zelda 1 w/ original manual, which was pretty cool.
Boyfriend gave me a PS3 so have just finished Bioshock (nice story, not so sure about the over saturated colours and slightly odd looking humans) but plan to return to it to try it without harvesting the Little Sisters.
Picked up Assassin's Creed for £10 in the sales though and am really impressed. Am interested to see how it plays out. You get a real sense of being immersed in a living city.
I too got prince of persia from my boyfriend and was looking forward to some easy platform fun. Too bad it turned out to be mind numbingly boring and repetitive. (the first few hours are fun but due to the open world design there is no increase in difficulty from beggining to end.) I forced myself to finish it though lol. Oh and the combat "sigh"
Ahh well I always have the sands of time to fall back on =0)
No games for me (I had already purchased and finished Prince of Persia well before Christmas), but I'll be putting my PS3 to good use in the coming weeks (as soon as I return home to my new television) with the first four Criterion Blu-ray films: The Third Man, The Man who Fell to Earth, Bottle Rocket, and Chungking Express. Yay!
Oh, and mom got me some Wii boxer shorts. Which I suppose is kinda cute, actually.
The only game I got this year was Wii Fit. That was pretty nice since I was sort of too lazy to find my own copy.
After Xmas, I bought myself a Hallmark Pac Man ornament on a Boxing Day sale. AWESOME!
Tom has pretty much the best Xmas gift ever in his hands!
Seriously. We got my Mom to sing along to The Who on RB2 this weekend. It was a huge surprise because she has not touched a video game since my brother and I tried to get her into the original Super Mario Bros on the NES.
I bought myself Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Braid.
I got a laptop and a good amount of money
I might get spore if it is compatable ^.^
I think i may also get Re: Chain of memories and maybe get FF7 via amazon.
but, no one got me any games specifically this year.
Small haul this year, but we knew it was coming. My boyfriend threw himself into 27 credit hours to finish up his undergrad, so I took my normal 12 and tried to hold down a full time job so we didn't lose the roof over our heads.
We ended up getting Kirby Super Star Ultra and Arkanoid DS. I'm going to pick up Mario Kart Wii for his birthday early next month. Planning on making a mini-game with RPG Maker VX to debut his gift to him. Just something cute like saving his stolen gift before I give him the actual present.
I got RB2 from my sweetie, and we played it all Christmas and Boxing Day with my sister. Good times, good times. RB2, bringing families together.
