Video: Retro Game Challenge Trailer

Kids these days have it easy. You don't even have to leave your house to get new games, you can just beam them right to your Atari 64 and be punching fellow gamesters in their virtual faces. Back in my day, we had to drive up to five miles in brisk fall weather to buy a new game. Now new and old gamers alike can get a taste of game life back in the 80's. With Retro Game Challenge, a DS collection of classic games framed around a meta storyline where you play a gamer out to challenge the Demon Arino, a character based off a hit Japanese gaming show.

An ad for this game first caught my eye in an issue of EGM and after this trailer I'm all set for the February release date. Having a full Dragon Warrior-esque RPG in the game is reason enough for me to be excited, and fans of retro gaming, gaming culture, or Japanese television should keep this game on their post holiday shopping lists.
